Jenny Mercer

Jenny has a BS degree in Animal Science and Forestry & Wildlife as well as a Master’s degree in Education from Virginia Tech. After a two-year apprenticeship in dog training under Sue Clauss, Jenny is a full-time trainer at Paw Paws Canine College and is having great success. She has worked with everything from docile, willing Golden Retriever puppies to adult, highly reactive dogs. Jenny prides herself in helping dogs stay happy in their training while still requiring accuracy of all commands. 

 Jenny gained extensive experience in teaching people  while working as a 4-H agent for nearly 20 years. She is a great communicator with dogs and people and she excels at teaching people how to handle their dogs and continue their training at home.
